Polyglyceryl-6 Distearate

Polyglyceryl-6 Distearate:

Derived from plants, Polyglyceryl-6 Distearate is a large number glycerin molecules that have been joined together in a way that results in a bigger and more moisturizing molecule.  Then the stearic part is added through the addition of a fatty acid.  It is a skin-conditioning agent and acts as another facilitator to allow the other natural ingredients to properly blend together. Used in a lot of creams from heavy to light sprayables serums to help moisturize skin and stabilize the creams by keeping the oil and water components together. Has the ability to create a comfortable film on the skin after use, which can protect the skin against harsh cold weather by maintaining the moisture levels in the skin. Or in humid/hot conditions it keeps the skin from getting too greasy or oily allowing the skin to feel lightweight.
